Anna Jean Armstrong
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of a devoted wife,
mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Anna Jean “A.J.”
Armstrong of Apohaqui passed away on July 5, 2010 at the age of 69.
Born in Salmon Creek, NB, she was a daughter of the late Earle and
Jessie (Thorne) Williams. Anna is survived by her husband Leroy
Armstrong, her daughter Lori (Graeme) Jones of Oromocto, her sons;
Dwayne (Rose), Bradley (Beth), Rodney (Kerry Lynn) all of Apohaqui,
Chris (Wendi) of Collina and Mike (Connie) of Apohaqui, her
grandchildren; Kristopher (Melissa) and Tabatha, Alex and Jillian,
Thomas and Kevin, Courtney, Katie and Tyler B., Kelsie, Devan and
Kristin and Denver, one great granddaughter Jaden, sisters; Barb
(Allison) Johnson of Mt. Middleton and Sandra (Mac) McKnight of
Apohaqui, brothers; Ron (Jennie) Williams, Deryl (Tressa) Williams,
all of Erb Settlement and Cedric (Patricia) Williams of Sussex Corner,
sisters-in-law; Winn (Lee) Alcorn and Leona Allen, all of Belleisle,
Bernice (Clifford) Pearson of Roachville, Beryl (Ivan) Howe of Lower
Millstream, brothers-in-law; Glen (Eleanor) Armstrong of Rothesay and
Mansel Muir of Belleisle Creek, aunt Eleanor Kruse of Edmonton and
several nieces, nephews and cousins. Anna was predeceased by a son
Kevin Armstrong, grandson Jonathan Armstrong, her parents,
Leroy’s parents Harry and Lena (Stackhouse) Armstrong,
sister-in-law Yvonne Muir and brother-in-law Larry Allen.
As per Anna’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private
family funeral service will be held at a later date. In lieu of
flowers, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the
Diabetes Association would be appreciated and can be made at Sussex
